Unitree's H1 aims to become a versatile solution for companies seeking advanced automation, and could well help democratize humanoid robots in the commercial world.
Unitree's H1 robot marks a notable entry by the company into the field of humanoid robots, with impressive specifications and a competitive price. The H1 is a bipedal robot measuring around 180 cm in height and weighing 47 kg, capable of carrying a maximum load of 30 kg. Its sophisticated articulations, offering five degrees of freedom for the legs and four for the arms, are powered by high-power motors developed in-house by Unitree. These motors enable precise, robust movements, ideal for use in a variety of environments, including uneven terrain.
On the perception side, the H1 is equipped with an Intel RealSense D435i depth camera and a Livox MID360 LiDAR module for 360-degree vision. It uses two Intel Core i7-1265U processors to process this data in real time, enabling the robot to move at a walking speed of 1.5 meters per second and potentially run at up to 5 meters per second, or around 18 km/h. Power is supplied by a removable 864 Wh lithium-ion battery.
